Christmas and Sparkle
Taking a beautiful bottle of Miss Dior Cherie eu de Parfum out of the box was pretty exciting, and these socks are really cute, but never forget, Jesus is the reason for the season! Merry Christmas, everyone!

Cute Stuff!
Yay! Forever 21 has launched a new Hello Kitty collection, and it is filled with cute stuff! If only money grew on trees, so you could buy half the merchandise in the store. Am I the only one who thinks that when I walk in there? Anyways, look at this awesome raincoat. Even though it doesn't have a big kitty face on it, it is really cool because you can stay insulated in the rain, while still showing off whatever you want to wear underneath! Check out more here :)

Antiquity
Sometimes I like the idea of having my hair in corn rows, (or an attempt of it). However, when you don't want to pay to have it done so you try it yourself, it is good to have an antique felt hat to cover up what is not very pretty. Also, a vintage-y outfit to go with the hat, in the end resulting in a mysteriously interesting look! The moral of this story is that you can always work what you have to work with!

Featuring Lady Gaga, and a Girl Named Maddie
Hey there! Well, today's blog does not really have unity, but it may provide inspiration, and that is the point, right? First of all, I found this picture (you may have seen it a long time ago, but I just did so it's new to me!) of Mama Monster and I love her hair. Some may call it a fashion disaster, but I think it is a beautiful one! She reminds me of a rebelling mermaid princess, with her sweet cotton-candy colored hair and her studs and leather.
The other inspiration I have for today is the lovely Madison. She wore this black jumpsuit to school, and yes, she agreed to be on my blog! It is a bit hard to tell in this picture, but the legs from bottom-of-shorts length down are sheer, and the rest is not. Cute! Fashionable playfulness while still being wearable to school. The belt gives it just the right amount of shape.

Pink Pow Power
You know those spray-in wash-out hair sprays that you get (for cheap) for Halloween to make your hair crazy colors? Well, they work year round! Crazy, right? I love it, because I can make my hair hot pink one day, and I never have to commit to more than a day at a time.
Switching topics: I love "shopping" through my mother's clothes that she wore when she was my age! Sometimes I just feel like I need something completely different from what I normally wear, and this does the job. These ultra high-waisted shorts are super comfy (You get tired of squeezing into those skinnies, right?) and they work out well with my vintage style Barbie tee. And don't forget belt and the pop of pink lipstick! Looks like I'm ready for a Barbie Safari. :)

Leopard Loveliness!
Being a total cat person, (I still love you, dog people), I have always adored leopard print. Come to think of it, I probably love wearing any animal print, but leopards are my favourite animal! So... I guess I enjoy trying to imitate one... *awkward pause*... Anyways, I did my window shopping of Forever 21 online yesterday, and was happy to find plenty of leopard print all over the place! If you are already a leopard print fan, or if you are in the mood to try it out, here are some cute choices that I found!
This is adorable for fall and winter!
I really want a skirt like this! I first saw one like it for Fashion Week last year.
Would be hot with leopard stuff!
Looove.
Hey, you can comment now! I think I finally changed it so you don't have to
be a member to leave your opinions and chatter! Hooray!

Star Studded
I'm not going to say much today, but I shall show you this outfit, while at the same time enlightening you with the genius quotes of a fashion queen, Coco Chanel. This outfit was comfortable, yet a bit edgy which I always love.

Metallic Breeze
Never underestimate thrift shopping! I found this bright, sheer shirt with beautiful beading and I love it! It does fit loosely on me, but that allows it to be flowy and ethereal. I polished the look by using a silver metallic shadow pencil all around my eyes (and mascara so we don't loose the lashes amidst the shimmer). Pretty and really simple!

A little DIY + Exciting Earrings!
A Little DIY
The first thing I am excited about is this T-Shirt idea which turned out fabulous! I had this cheap Next Top Model tee which I hardly ever wore, because it was just too plain and...well... not cute. If you have something that you never wear, don't be afraid to cut it up and experiment with it. Hey, you have nothing to lose- you'll either end up with something you'll wear, or more room in your closet! So, I did some creative cutting followed by a generous amount of safety pinning, and bam! A much edgier tee that I will actually notice in my closet full of clothes competing for my attention.
Exciting Earrings
I also found these huge earrings at Forever 21. They are awesome because, for being huge, they aren't too heavy!
P.S. I taught myself to fishtail braid by looking it up and watching a short video. Highly recommended! :) Happy summer.

A bright tank under it would add pops of color! (Or make it school-appropriate ;)

Summer Lovin'!
Finally summer! Where you can make things, read, make smoothies, wear strapless tops, or do whatever your heart desires--- without homework nagging at your mind! :D
Yesterday I felt adventurous, like going for the mix-and-match look. I don't do it very often, but hey! I think it turned out pretty cute! With just plaid shorts and a cami, I felt like I needed something drapey on top. My old striped vest-thing seemed to balance it out, while adding a little clashing fun!

The Bow: Introducing my latest addition to my collection of duct tape bows! I am pondering selling these. Would anyone buy them for a reasonable price?
The Necklace: I made this yesterday as well! I took a rock that I found on the beach that already had a hole in it and coated it with clear shimmery nail polish. I then braided some jewelry string and voila! A naturally summer-y necklace!
The Shoes: I adore all these little bows! Yes, they are Madden. I love them! Secret: Ross has Steve Madden shoes for cheap! That's where I found these darlings!

Hello!! (Kitty)
I have three things to share!
One: This is what I wore to school a couple days ago. Don't be afraid to wear sneakers with a dress! Sometimes you just got to mix things up when you start feeling like it's time for a change in the old routine. I contrasted floral with my fun zipper high tops. It was cold though so I wore black tights.
Two: I went to prom! :D It was fabulous. Right before I went shopping for a dress, I decided to look in my grandma's garage where she stores a bunch of old dresses, and found this puff-sleeved velvet treasure! Hey, I never had to worry that someone would have the same dress as me, or anywhere near it! Oh yeah, I rhinestoned my official prom sunglasses, too.
Three: Forever 21 has a Hello Kitty collection! Yesss! A cat lover is never too old to love Hello Kitty, in my opinion ;). Look how adorable these are!
And this is from Sanrio, not Forever 21, but it's adorable:
That's all! How was your prom? What did you wear? :D Follow and comment!

Prom Prep #2!
Okay, so maybe you have an idea for an outfit, but have you thought about hair? If you are like me and do not want to spend a ton of money getting your hair twisted and pinned in a salon, I promise you can do it yourself and still be the Belle of the Ball!
On the Seventeen website I found all these ideas for prom hair! (There are a ton more so you should check it out!) Some are actually ones I never would have thought of on my own. Take a look! Here are a few of my favorites:

(FAVORITE!)
Ah... and shoes. There are different factors which may play into which shoes you want to wear:
- Your dress / outfit
- Your height / how tall you want to be
- What kind of a dancer you are!
- Your comfort level
1. Way Up There Heels
Look at these Steve Madden for Zac Posen heels. Inspiration for my dramatic and edgy girls.
These pretty neutrals could go with practically anything!
You can take the classic pumps up a notch by getting them in popping colors, or just these caged ones are pretty awesome.
There's inspiration for ya from the Betsey Johnson runway.
2. Down to Earth
Fun ones. Beware of clashing though please! Unless your clash is purposeful.
Just add a bit of sparkly magic.
3. A Happy Medium
Can you tell I obsess over Steve Madden shoes? Cuz' I do. ;)
